Prior to our session, we will also ask you for some information: your name, age, location and what you would like us to focus on (a physical or health issue, goal, or challenge). We will then agree on a time.  Treatments usually take an hour.

At the time of your treatment, make sure that you are in a comfortable and quiet location. Create a peaceful environment.  Soothing sounds and smells are encouraged. You could be outside or indoors, seated or laying down.  Wear comfortable clothing and try to silence electronics. Be sure to drink water before and after your treatment.

State your intention to receive the healing energy being sent your way. Begin your Distant Energy/Reiki session with an open mind. Energy work is experienced differently by individuals.  Most agree that it feels relaxing.  You may experience temperature changes, energic ‘buzzing’ or sensations, tingling, visions of colors or shapes, memories.  If you are having a hard time relaxing, taking slow and deep breaths may help.

After our session we can talk or email and discuss what we noticed/felt.  If you would prefer to skip this, that is fine too.
